Warranty

At PinusValley, we are dedicated to engineering premium lighting and home fixtures that combine exceptional design with enduring quality. We stand confidently behind our craftsmanship. This Limited Warranty Policy outlines the coverage, claim processes, and exclusions for all authentic PinusValley products.

By purchasing and installing a PinusValley product, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined below.

1. Warranty Coverage and Tiers

To provide transparent and fair coverage, PinusValley offers a tiered warranty system based on the component type and the installation environment. Coverage begins on the original date of delivery.

Component Category Residential Use Commercial / Hospitality Use
Structural & Hardware (Frames, canopies, chains) 2 Years 2 Years
Electrical Components (Integrated LEDs, wiring, drivers) 2 Years 2 Years
Exterior Finishes & Shades (Glass, fabric, metal plating) 2 Years No Warranty

2. Warranty Eligibility

This Limited Warranty is extended exclusively to the original end-user purchaser who bought the product directly from PinusValley or an authorized retail partner.

  • This warranty is strictly non-transferable.

  • Proof of purchase (order number, valid receipt, or invoice) is mandatory for all claims.

3. Sole Remedies

If a defect in material or workmanship is confirmed by our technical team within the applicable warranty period, PinusValley will, at its sole discretion:

  • Provide replacement parts to resolve the defect.

  • Replace the defective product with the same model.

  • Issue a store credit or replacement of a comparable model if the original item has been discontinued.

4. Exclusions

Our warranty covers manufacturing defects. It does not cover damages or costs arising from external factors, including but not limited to:

  • Labor and Installation Costs: Any fees associated with the hiring of electricians, contractors, or equipment required to remove or reinstall the fixture.

  • Consumables: Standard light bulbs, remote control batteries, and other replaceable components.

  • Shipping Expenses: The cost to ship a defective item back to our facility for inspection (PinusValley will cover outbound shipping for approved replacement parts).

  • Improper Installation: Damage resulting from installation that fails to comply with local electrical codes or PinusValley’s written instructions.

  • Acts of Nature & Force Majeure: Damage caused by power surges, lightning, fires, floods, or other external catastrophes.

  • Smart Home Incompatibility: Performance issues arising from third-party dimmers, smart switches, or automated home systems.

  • Harsh Environments: Finish degradation or corrosion resulting from installation outdoors (for indoor-only rated fixtures) or within fifteen (15) miles of a corrosive coastal shoreline.

5. Actions That Void the Warranty

The PinusValley warranty immediately becomes null and void under the following circumstances:

  • The product was installed by an unlicensed individual where a certified electrician is legally required.

  • The fixture has been physically altered, repainted, or modified in any way from its original factory condition.

  • The product was subjected to abrasive chemical cleaners, solvents, or improper maintenance.

  • The original serial number or product tag has been removed or defaced.

6. Maintenance and Care Instructions

Proper care is essential to extending the life and beauty of your PinusValley fixture.

  • Clean metal and glass surfaces using only a dry, soft microfiber cloth.

  • For stubborn dust, lightly dampen the cloth with pure water.

  • Never use scouring pads, ammonia-based glass cleaners, or household polishes, as these will permanently strip the protective lacquer and void your warranty.

7. How to Initiate a Warranty Claim

To ensure a swift resolution, all warranty claims must follow our standard Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) process:

  1. Document the Issue: Take clear, high-resolution photographs or a short video demonstrating the defect.

  2. Submit a Request: Email our warranty department at sales@pinusvalley.com with your order number, installation date, and the photographic evidence.

  3. Evaluation: Our technical support team will review your claim within 2 to 5 business days.

  4. Resolution & RMA: If approved, you will receive an RMA number and detailed instructions on receiving your replacement parts or returning the defective unit.

8. Limitation of Liability and Legal Disclaimers

PINUSVALLEY’S ENTIRE OBLIGATION AND THE PURCHASER’S EXCLUSIVE REMEDY UNDER THIS WARRANTY ARE STRICTLY LIMITED TO THE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF THE DEFECTIVE PRODUCT. IN NO EVENT SHALL PINUSVALLEY BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF USE, OR PROPERTY DAMAGE, ARISING OUT OF THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE PRODUCT.

SOME STATES OR JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS WHICH VARY FROM STATE TO STATE.
